| May was Month One of my summer, and I kicked it off pretty well, first with friends, then with a lovely family trip that I never got to finish writing about.I wrote some just-for-fun posts about a bird with a funny name, why UBC CS is the best department, and the deal with relationship status on Facebook.
I also wrote a few How-To posts: how to remove background color using photoshop, excellent for exam packages (this post was put on WordPress.com, so my blog enjoyed a small influx of about 250 new visitors in total, who were of course immediately scared off by the amount of Chinese writing on here), and how to use Microsoft Sam to record voice mail greeting. One a somewhat more serious note, I documented my plan to run a Student Directed Seminar, and the prelude to an exciting July with Shad Valley. Oh, I guess the reviews on Sweeney Todd and I Am Legend would fall into this somewhat-serious category. And of course, I challenged myself to Relay for Life!!! (thank-you page) And then I decided to do something devastating to my blog: turn it into a spectacularly boring essay-writing exercise arena for my MCAT exam. 喜歡我寫中文的讀者這個月有福啦！和淨心舍混在一起就是會有這個作用，整個人都台灣起來了。儘管我寫了篇激勵自己要讀書準備考試的文章，整個五月老實講，實在是沒有很積極向上的感覺啊！一方面外務很多（社團秘書不好當滴，各位小朋友），一方面自己又愛胡思亂想。連未來跟小孩的對話都想進去了，你說我怎麼辦。
又開了個小說的頭，想不出什麼好名字，就叫哥們吧。說「又」，是因為我還有好幾篇小說沒寫完，例如武俠創作「雨天騎龍記」。我在這連載小說方面，好像紀錄不佳啊 XD。有人問我哥們是寫真實的事嗎？答曰：摘取生活片段加以渲染虛構以後的作品。是說不從生活裡取材，哪來的生動場景？又如果不加油添醋，哪來的曲折情節？ 文章冒犯到朋友，小小檢討一下。還好那個朋友氣過了，現在又回來開心的看我的網誌囉 老媽弄了個網誌來玩，希望她不要三分鐘熱度，不然豈不是枉費了我幫她連結的一片孝心？ 介紹一下Erica，一方面鼓勵其他人跟進，大方捐款給癌症研究，一方面讓大家知道如果我跑步那天葛屁，兇手是誰。介紹文一下就離題到中文vs.英文的討論。 另一篇文章則是稍微探討了一下寫網誌的目的，好像是所有寫網誌的人都該問的問題。 |
