About
During the evolving 1.5 years of this blog’s existence so far, it has taken on several different themes and its feel has never been quite the same. For one thing, the privacy I maintain for this blog seems to be loosened continuously, from not wanting friends to mention my name on the blog, to posting pictures of my family, friends, and myself and allowing everyone to comment without moderation.
So I think it’s time to write an actual “About” page for those of you who’d like a polite and serious self-introduction.
I’ve been a UBC undergrad since 2005, changing my major in this order:
- Combined Major Microbiology and Computer Science
- Combined Major Pharmacology and Computer Science
- Double Major Pharmacology and Computer Science
- Major in Pharmacology
and pending graduation. The reason for my downsizing from a double major to a single major at the very end of my journey (I handed in the form on June 9th actually) is because I have been admitted to UBC Medicine and will no longer be an undergrad. I figured having a free B.Sc. degree is better than not.
As you will notice, I write in both English and Chinese. I think in both nucleotides and binary, among other things. I assure you that this blog will continue with its confused identity of not having any particular identity, just a capture of whatever goes through the mind of a bilingual med student with too many random musings.
